Grendel Hunter uppers are highly customizable. You aren’t stuck buying components that you’re just going to change out once you receive it. Get it built how you want it from the beginning. Here’s how it works:
Using the options below, select the components you’d like used in your upper. The base price includes components for a base model. For example, the base price includes our shortest handguard option that still covers the gas block. But if you prefer a longer handguard, you can upgrade it for a little bit more. The base price does not include a bolt carrier group or charging handle. If you already have a BCG in this caliber or have a charging handle that you like, we aren’t going to make you buy another one. You can just select “None” for those components.

The machining, fit and finish are very high quality. On the first outing to the range I shot a 5 shot group with bulk Hornady ammo at 100 yards with all rounds touching, just one ragged hole! I went to the range today for the second time out and shot a couple 1/2″ groups and most groups averaged right about an inch. Not only is the upper accurate, it has functioned flawlessly. Andy at Grendel Hunter is super great to work with and promptly answered all my questions. This upper is a super good deal and Grendel Hunter is a great company, I have recommended this upper to my friends.
